This weekend in Caledon East

Summer may be over, but the fun has just begun!

This weekend in Caledon East, there are four Amazing events to choose from that are fun for the whole family.

On Saturday Downey’s Farm Market kicks off its annual Pumkinfest. This event runs from Sept 29 through to October 31. Pumkinfest includes unlimited wagon rides, live entertainment, face painting, straw jumping, farm animals, super corn maze and much more!

What’s great is that Downey’s is only a 15-min drive from Pathways.

For directions, pricing info, pictures, and more information visit the Downey’s Farm website.

Also on Saturday, the Caledon Hill’s Studio Tour is returning for its 22nd season. It boasts 8 prestigious studios and the world class art of 15 exhibitors.  This event allows you to explore quality art such as leather, glass, acrylics, mixed media, photography, oils, wood, stone, pottery and jewelry. Visit this event’s website where you can find an interactive map of studio locations in the beautiful countryside of Caledon Hill’s.

The fun doesn’t stop there. On Sunday the Bruce Trail is hosting Bruce Trail Day. Bruce Trail Day is held to promote public awareness of the Bruce Trail and the benefits of outdoor activity on land conserved for future generations. All hikes are free and designed to be introductory. Guided hikes are available throughout the day from 1 hour to 2.5 hours in length.

Visit The Bruce Trail website for more information.

Another great family event is the C3 / Kinetico Running Festival.  A 5km, 10k and Kids 1 Mile Fun Run. This event is to promote active living and help the local Caledon Community Food Bank. For more information visit the C3/ Kinetico Running Festival website.

Which event will you and your family be going to?

Have a Great Weekend!
